7-bit digital pot offers high output voltage
Housed in a 10-pin microSOP package, the 7-bit DS3501 nonvolatile digital potentiometer features an output voltage of up to 15.5 V. The part incorporates temperature sensing and an ADC-addressable 36-bin lookup table spanning a temperature range of 40 to 100°C.
The LUT output can drive the pot directly or be added to a nonvolatile initial-value register to drive the pot. Programming is accomplished through an I2 C-compatible interface that can operate up to 400 kHz. (From $0.70 ea/100,000available now.)
