Rugged laser delivers 50 W for 10,000+ hrs

Bonded directly to its heat sink, the PulseLife single-diode laser delivers over 10,000 hours of lifetime (MTTF) at outputs of up to 50 W. Available in wavelengths such as 810, 940, and 980 nm, the conductively cooled device uses thermal conductivity and expansion-coefficient-matched packaging to maintain reliability under torturous “on-off” cycle conditions.

Able to operate in environments with ambient temperatures as high as 75°C, the diode laser has an optical fill factor of 30%, which facilitates fiber coupling and lensing of the output. (Contact Mark Mondry for pricing and availability.)
