Measuring 26 (W) x 61 (H) mm, the STA11 ServoTube direct-drive linear actuator can be mounted with other units on 28-mm centers to create a 10-actuator assembly less than 12 in. wide. Rugged IP-67 design and lubrication-free bearings provide millions of operating cycles.
An 11-mm-diameter thrust rod and built-in solid-state position sensor provide a 14 to 232-mm stroke with ±12 µm repeatability. Peak force, velocity, and output are 92 N, 4.7 m/s, and 1 Vac, respectively, and the actuator, which operates from a 75-V source, will accelerate instrumentation-type loads to 25g.
