POL dc/dc converters present small outline

Sealed in a 15 x 15 x 2.8-mm LGA package, LTM uModule Series point-of-load (POL) dc/dc converters contain an inductor, power MOSFETs, dc/dc controller, compensation circuitry, and input/output bypass capacitors. The 6-A LTM4603 and 12-A LTM4601 include PLL, tracking and margining, and remote sensing, and are offered in versions accepting 4.5 to 20 or 28 V.

The 6-A LTM4602 and 10-A LTM4600 have a reduced feature set and also come in versions accepting 4.5 to 20 or 28 V. All devices include short-circuit and over- and undervoltage protection and are rated for operation from –40° to 85°C. (From $11.95 ea/1,000—available now.)
