The 2.5-GHz SKY77258 WiMAX front-end module integrates the power amplifier, switch, coupler, detector, controller, baluns, LNA, and matching components in a 36-pin, 8 x 10-mm multichip module.
The device provides a linear Pout of 24 dBm at the switch output, together with a P1 dB of over 35 dBm to support the high peak-to-average ratio needed for multicarrier WiMAX signals.
