Targeting industries from railway controls and communications equipment to military gear, the C/B 4800 Series 6U-high dc/dc and ac/dc 2.4 to 5-kW power modules come in versions accepting nine dc input ranges from 10 to 800 Vdc, a nominal 115 or 230 Vac, or three-phase inputs of 200, 400, or 480 Vac. Operating at an efficiency of up to 95%, the devices are available in configurations providing an adjustable output in 10 ranges from 12 to 400 Vdc.
Also provided in battery-charging versions, the devices include features such as EN55022 Class A EMI performance (Class B optional) and a line and load regulation of 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively. Other options include input inrush current limiting, dc-input reverse-polarity protection, output parallel/redundant operation, remote on/off, power fail, and dc-ok alarm capability with system reset and programming and monitoring functions.
