MicroTCA show and tell
Engineers will be tackling hard issues surrounding the new Micro Telecommunications Computing Architecture, whose spec was released last year, at the first MicroTCA Summit, which starts on May 30. According to founder Lance Leventhal of Conference ConCepts (San Diego, CA), the Baltimore, MD., event will try to answer such questions as “Can you support a full system with MicroTCA cards?” and “How do you keep them from burning up?”
Attendees will also try figure out how to determine what the real system costs are. For more info on the meeting and attending it, visit http://www.microtcasummit.com/.
