USB load sensors are plug-and-weigh devices

Using patented capacitive-sensing technology, iLoad Series digital load/force sensors combine load or force sensing with integrated computing and USB communications modules in a rugged, low profile package so they can connect directly to a PC for plug-and-play operation.

The smart sensors do not need additional signal conditioning or data-acquisition software to work, but optional LoadVUE Lite software automates communication and load display. Current models support compressive and tensile measurements to 10, 50, 100, 250, and 500 lb (15,000 lb on special order) with accuracies of 0.25 to 0.025% FS from 10 to 40°C, and an analog-output version is available.
