AMC board provides fast FPGA

The GX-AMC Advanced Mezzanine Card is an FPGA-only board based on Altera Stratix II GX devices. Every AMC port, aside from port 0, is connected to the Stratix II GX FPGA and the card’s framework, allowing designers to determine exactly how to route the I/O, with a variety of protocols supported on 11 SerDes ports and eight LVDS ports.

The card includes a front-panel mezzanine site with 76 LVDS pairs and four SerDes, and can have up to 20 full-duplex transceivers supporting PCI Express, XAUI, Gigibit Ethernet, Serial RapidIO, and SerialLite II. The FPGA can have up to 132,540 equivalent LEs, over 6.7 Mbits of RAM, 63 DSP blocks, and eight PLLs. ($3,500 ea/large qtyavailable now.)
