RF receiver IC boosts performance

The MICRF213 RF receiver IC family features up to –110-dBm sensitivity and functions as a super-heterodyne receiver for OOK and ASK modulation up to 7.2 kbits/s at 315 MHz. The device’s operating voltage is 3.3 V and operating frequency band is 300 to 350 MHz.

There are four filter bandwidths that may be selected externally by the user in binary steps, from 1.18 to 9.44 kHz at 315 MHz operating frequency. Housed in a 16-pin QSOP, the part offers designers a low current consumption of 3.9 mA at 315 MHz. ($1.89 ea/1,000available now.)
