SMT converters yield up to 30 A

Designed to meet the power needs of the latest generation of FPGAs and ASICs, the MegaLynx family of SMT dc/dc converters can deliver up to 30 A with an efficiency as high as 92.5%. With a package size of 33.0 x 9.1 x 13.5 mm, the ATS020 and ATS030 accept from 6 to 14 Vdc with a programmable output voltage from 0.8 Vdc to 3.63 Vdc and 2.75 Vdc, respectively.

The ATH version accepts from 4.5 to 5.5 Vdc with a 0.8 to 3.63-Vdc output, and the ATM version takes from 2.7 to 5.5 Vdc and provides 0.8 to 2.0 Vdc. Features include remote on/off and sense, monotonic start up, sequencing, and overcurrent and overtemperature protection with optional current sharing available. (From $18 ea/1,000—available now.)
