Available in frequency ranges from 9 kHz to 3 or 6 GHz, the 15.4-lb ZVL Series vector network analyzer is said to be the lightest, smallest portable vector network analyzer on the market. Optionally, the ac or battery-powered unit can also be configured with spectrum analyzer capabilities.
The instrument has a 123-dB dynamic range, bidirectional measurement capability, multiple marker functions, and analysis functions such as multitrace display. It can operate remotely via 100Base-T Ethernet or optional GPIB interfaces and, with the spectrum-analyzer option, perform both reflection and spectral measurements such as adjacent-channel power or third-order intercept, as well as of UMTS, WLAN, and WiMAX measurements.
