Blue SMT LEDs are efficient, inexpensive

Offered at a price of $0.12, VLMB41XX series surface-mount blue LEDs feature a luminous intensity of 45 to 112 mcd as well as a 2-kV ESD-withstand voltage in accordance with JESD22-A114-B. Suiting a variety of backlighting and indicator uses, the InGaN devices offer a 60° angle of half-intensity.

Preconditioned according to JEDEC Level 2a standards, the device comes in a RoHS-compliant PLCC-2 package and has CECC compatibility with infrared, vapor phase, and wave solder processes. ($0.12available now, volume orders 5 weeks ARO.)
