Priced at $995, the model 4045 synthesized function generator can generate sine and square waves to 20 MHz, as well as triangle, pulse, ramp, and arbitrary waveforms. With amplitudes to 10 Vp-p into 50 Ω, signals have 12-bit vertical resolution and up to 1,000 points, and can also have large offsets.
The multi-trigger-mode generator can be set up using its menu-driven front panel and LCD display; parameter changes and data entry, including AM/FM modulation, can be made via a rotary knob or RS-232 interface. Included PC software lets users create, edit, and download waveforms for storage in the unit’s flash memory. ($995-available now.)
