Designed to fit BlackBerry 7200 handsets, the OtterBox 1931 case protects the handheld against shock and moisture while providing access to phone and data functions. It has a MIL-STD 810F rating for drop and shock and an IP 54 rating for heavy rain and dust. Molded rubber inside the 4.85 x 3.60 x 1.54-in. black-gray case cradles the handset and an O-ring and latch seals it from exposure.

With a polycarbonate/ABS shell, the case provides water-resistant access to keypad, scroll wheel, and operating buttons. A rigid screen cover protects the handheld’s LCD, acoustic-membrane vents allow sound transmission from the sealed case, and an easy-open plug provides access to sync/charge and headphone jacks.
