The multichannel high-gain KD-2306 noncontact linear displacement sensing system is said to be easier to use than traditional devices for making high precision static and dynamic measurements. Over 30 sensors–including single- and dual-coil, shielded and unshielded designs–support ambient, moderate-temperature, and cryogenic measurements.
The system–which includes electronics, sensor, and cabling–can sense ferrous or nonferrous metal targets at ranges from 0.02 to 2.4 in. with resolution of 0.01% FS or better and nonlinearity to 0.25% FS. The RoHS-compliant CE-marked system connects to 15 to 30-Vdc input power with outputs of 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 5, 10, or ±5 Vdc. (Contact Dan Spohn for pricing and availability.)
