Disk jog switch suits portable devices

The B5V-1422 disk jog switch provides users with a single interface that enables quick and easy scrolling through lists and selecting options. Five tactile selector switches—a center push button and four peripheral push points—are combined with a rotational jog feature based on two Hall-effect IC sensors.

The switch is available with or without four red LEDs to provide edge highlighting on the periphery of the jog dial. The switch can be used in portable devices such as MP3 players, cell phones, digital cameras, and PDAs. (Ea/800: with LEDs, $8.16; without LEDs, $7.75—available now.)
