Wi-Max antenna performs the job of four devices
Base-station device provides adjustable beamwidth over four sector shapes
Operating across the 3.3 to 3.7-GHz frequency band, a Wi-Max base-station antenna provides adjustable beamwidth over four sector shapes—45°, 60°, 90°, and 120°. The 715 x 181 x 83-mm device performs the job of four single-sector, ETSI CS2-compliant antennas to reduce space, cost, complexity, and maintenance requirements associated with standard solutions.
Sector adjustments are made via fasteners at the base of the antenna that reshape both the backplane and the sector. The adjustments can be made without having to access the antenna housing, allowing for quick and efficient site testing and installation.Maximum VSWR is 1.7:1 input power is 10 W, input impedance is 50 Ω, and operating temperature range is from 40 to 70C. Typical gain is specified at 17.7, 16.5, 15, and 14 dBi for each respective sector shape. The antenna features a Type N female connector and comes with adjustable downtilt mounting hardware.
