The EVA 120C evaluation kit includes everything necessary to quickly develop ultra-low-power wireless sensor modules for a variety applications. Kit components include an STM 110C solar-powered sensor transmitter module and a development board with microcontroller and a PC interface.
The STM module includes a wireless sensor, low-power radio, solar cell, microcontroller, low-power sleep timer, and threshold detector for energy management. The 0.8 x 1.6 x 0.4-in. board has buttons and optocoupler inputs for even- driven applications, buttons that trigger a learn function to assign the sensor to networks, jumpers for wake and transmit times, potentiometers to simulate analog inputs, an LED display, and RS-232/USB interfaces.
