IEEE 1588 Compliant Industrial 802.3 Switch Reference Design – RD-133

This development board demonstrates an 8-port switch with IEEE1588 clock synchronization implemented in an Altera FPGA with embedded NIOS 32-bit processor. It utilizes a 32 bit NIOS II embedded RISC processor, high port density with low pin count RMII interfaces, and full featured 10/100Mbps Ethernet MACs compliant with the IEEE802.3-2002 standard.
