Datalogger captures vibration spectra

The OM-CP-SVR101 spectral vibration recorder records acceleration data for spectral analysis of vibration and peak, taking data only when a user-preset trigger level is exceeded. The unit suits transportation/shipping applications, machine-failure detection, vehicle-vibration test, materials research, and wind resonance measurement on structure supports.

Datalogger captures vibration spectra

The device stores and time-tags three-axis vibrations and peaks, as well as temperature, taking up to 7,595 samples at 2-s to 2-hour intervals and computing real-time spectral data using an FFT. OM-CP software, and a USB or RS-232 cable simplify data retrieval. (Logger, $999; software/cable from $99–available now.)
