Tiny ADC delivers superior performance

Suited for leading-edge communications equipment and instrumentation applications, the 16-bit 160-Msamples/s LTC2209 A/D converter features an SNR of 77.1 dB and an SFDR of 100 dB at baseband. Features include an internal transparent dither circuit and a digital output randomizer.

Additional features include a single 3.3-V supply, a frequency bandwidth of 700 MHz, and CMOS or LVDS outputs. Housed in a 9 x 9-mm QFN package, the part consumes 1,450 mW without the need for heat sinking. (From $25 ea/1,000—available now.)
