The VB400 and Vari-Ballast Control (VBC) lighting control systems improve efficiency of existing HID, T5, and T8 lighting systems. The VB400 replaces uncontrolled high-bay and low-bay HID lighting fixtures, and the VBC enables the use of T5 and T8 florescent ballasts. Both lighting control systems can be used with any manufacturer, wattage, bulb type and input voltage.
The lighting controls reduce the number of HID lamps and fixtures by 25 to 33%, and provide control of the lighting brightness and efficiency. Both systems use higher wattage output, offer a power factor correction close to 100%, and the ability to control the lumens/fixture output allows a wider spacing of ballasts.
