Six digital POL converters in the ZY2000 no-bus and ZY8000 bus-programmable series provide from 5 to 40 A, meeting the needs of server and communications applications and provide 94% efficiency. The products integrate power management and conversion to help reduce board-level parts count, improve power-system performance, and enable power-management functionalities.
They have input ranges from 8 to 14 V combined with user-defined outputs of 0.5 to 5.5 V. The operating range extends from 0 to 70°C. The converters manage up to 32 components, including up to four analog devices. Applications include space-critical operations including blade-servers and communications. The ZY2000 No-Bus POLs are hardware configured via pin strapping and trim components. ZY8000 POLs can be programmed via an I2 C bus, or a wizard-driven GUI.
