A second-generation one-piece ATCA handle requires only two screws to attach it to the panel/PCB. The handle’s alignment pin is also part of the handle mold, which makes it sturdy and increases drop-test survivability.
The handle is engaged/disengaged with a unique slide-motion solution that prevents it from being accidentally tripped or bumped into and broken. The slide-motion switch pops the handle open about 30° and activates the microswitch. (From less than $2 ea/large qty—stock to 2 weeks ARO.)
