The OV9710 CameraChip true HD video sensor is a 1-Mpixel CMOS sensor built for optimal low-light sensitivity and high-quality HD video performance. It is well suited for mobile handsets and notebook PCs, as well as automotive and security applications.
With a sensitivity rating over 2,300 mV/L-s, the 0.25-in. unit delivers full-frame WXGA HD video at 30 fps or subsampled WXGA at 60 fps. The sensor incorporates functions such as exposure and gain control, white balance, lens correction, and defect pixel canceling through the SCCB interface.
