The IRS26302D is a protected 600-V three-phase gate driver IC with ground fault protection. It also has a seventh gate-drive channel for a PFC switch or inverter brake, making it well-suited for medium-power appliance motor control and other general-purpose three-phase inverter applications.
The IC integrates power MOSFET/IGBT gate drivers with three high-side and three low-side referenced output channels to provide 200- and 350-mA drive current at up to 20-V MOS gate-drive capability operating up to 600 V. The IC incorporates negative Vs immunity circuitry to protect the system from catastrophic events that occur during high-current switching and short-circuit conditions. An integrated input filter helps reject noise and reduce distortion for motor control applications. ($2.44 ea/100,000 available now.)
