Translucent housings protect instruments

Part of the 1591XX Series of small instrument housings, the Ice Blue version features a plastic that is translucent to readouts, displays, and blue, white, and near-white LEDs, enabling them to be mounted inside the enclosure. Molded in ABS with a satin texture finish, the housings come in sizes from 3.4 x 2.2 x 1.4 in. to 7.6 x 4.4 x 2.2 in.

The cases are optimized for mounting PCBs horizontally, with four stand-offs molded into both the top and the base. The enclosures are sealed to IP54, with a lap joint keeping out dust and splashing water. (Contact Ray Shatzel for pricing—available now.)
