Benchtop dc supply calculates V, I settings

Unlike conventional power supplies, the model 9110 100-W/60-V/5-A multirange dc power supply automatically recalculates the voltage and current limits for each power setting to provide a constant-power output up to 100 W in any volt/amp combination within its rated 60-V, 5-A limits. This can eliminate the need for multiple supplies.

The compact (3.47 x 6.9 x 11.11-in.) unit is a digitally controlled mixed-mode linear/switching supply with 10-mV and 1-mA resolution over its full range. It provides overcurrent/voltage/temperature protection and can store and recall 4 x 100 groups of preset V/I values. ($275 — available now.)
