The Series 1515 load cells are designed to sense the force required to operate a vehicle’s primary-brake, clutch, or floor-mounted emergency-brake pedals. The sensors are suited for brake-development, drivability, vehicle-handling, and safety/legislative testing.

Designed for easy installation/removal, the 30.2-mm-high sensors have integral cables and loading surfaces that reject off-axis loading errors. Temperature-compensated for –1° to 54°C operation and designed with 500% of full-scale overload protection, units are offered in various capacities with good resolution, linearity, and repeatability under constant-force or panic-stop loading.
