Polarizer covers the mid infrared range

The CODIXX colorPol MIR polarizer lens covers the mid infrared range, providing high extinction ratios of above 10,000:1 (40 dB) from 2.0 to 4.5 μm and above 1,000:1 (30 dB) and from 1.5 to 5.0 μm. Transmittance properties range to 90%.

The lens uses sodium silicate glass doped with prolate silver nanoparticles to provide high temperature stability up to 400°C and resistance against rough environmental influences, most chemicals, UV radiation, and bleaching. Standard versions have diameters of 12.5 and 25.0 mm and other dimensions are available. (Contact Valerie King for pricing and availability.)
