Coaxial lasers require no additional cooling
The 1933 DFB laser family requires no additional cooling, since it can maintain performance with case temperatures from 40º to 80ºC, and thus reduces cost. The 1933 also features high slope efficiency and linearity even with optical output powers up to 12 dBm.
Packaged in a compact hermetic assembly with a monitor photodiode and isolator, the 1933 DFB laser diode devices allow for flexible integration into various transmitter configurations. The 1933F and 1933R feature forward- and return-path laser solutions for HFC plants, and the 1933W provides a competitive solution for wireless networks.
