Module helps increase SMPS efficiency

The Power-SPM FPP06R001 synchronous rectification module increases power efficiency and space efficiency in secondary-side rectification for switch-mode power supply designs. Incorporating two PowerTrench MOSFETs and a high-current gate driver, the module simplifies board design, eliminates up to 10 discrete components and reduces board space by 20%.

The module provides 10% lower on-resistance and 16% lower stray inductance compared to discrete solutions. Its efficiency helps power supply designs meet next-generation Energy Star requirements. It uses lead-free terminals and meets the requirements of the IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020. ($ 5 — samples available now; 12 weeks ARO.)
