The JCA series miniature, board-mounted, low-power dc/dc converters occupy 20% less PCB area than competitive products, and maintain the industry-standard DIP-24 pinout. Measuring 1 x 0.8 x 0.4 in., the device’s shielded metal package is 0.25 in. shorter than the 1.25-in. industry norm.
The series is made of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 6-W models, each offering a choice of 4 nominal input voltages of 5, 12, 24, and 48 Vdc. Input options are 4.5 to 9 Vdc, 9 to 18 Vdc, 18 to 36 Vdc, or 36 to 75 Vdc. For each input voltage, single-output models offer 3.3-, 5-, 12-, or 5-Vdc outputs or the dual-output versions provide ±5, ±12, or ±15 Vdc. Outputs are regulated, varying no more than ±0.3% over all input conditions, and less than ±1.0% across all load conditions.
