The LTC3670 is a 400-mA 2.25-MHz synchronous buck regulator with two 150-mA LDOs packaged in a 2 x 3-mm DFN. The regulator and both LDOs are adjustable to 0.8 V, offering a triple-output converter. The input voltage range of 2.5 to 5.5 V suits it for single-cell Li-ion-powered applications. The adjustable outputs help power I/O, memory, and core voltages of the latest DSPs and microcontrollers.
The converter delivers 93% efficiency and constant frequency, while current mode operation minimizes noise and fast transient response. The internal LDOs require only 150-mV dropout voltage, providing two additional low-noise outputs. A BurstMode operation minimizes quiescent current to 70 µA in no-load conditions.
