The Fujitsu MHZ2 CJ series 2.5-in. disk drives feature a simple-to-use and virtually impenetrable data lock down, with no encryption keys remaining on the machine when they are powered off and the data inaccessible without a password. The drive data is AES-256 bit encrypted with an algorithm built into the device’s SOC, providing greatly improved performance over software implementations.
The 7,200-rpm drives use 2.3 W typ/0.13 W in standby and have 160- or 320-Gbyte capacity and a 16-Mbyte buffer. (Contact company for pricing—available now.)
