The 1.2-W 19 x 19-mm BGA324-packaged IC supports a PMD interface at 10.3125-Gbits/s CML or four-lane XAUI (3.125 Gbits/s) and features diagnostic tools that monitor parameters such as insertion loss, frequency response, equalizer response, and frequency offsets, along with BER and SNR.
