The POE576U is a 36-W/port midspan that is simple network management protocol (SNMP) capable. The 16-port device provides 576-W for 10/100/1000Base-T and requires no power management. It is suitable for security applications including security cameras, RFID scanners, door access controls, and security systems. The device enables remote monitoring and camera reset without onsite service personnel.
The midspan is available in 8- or 16-port versions. It has safety and protection systems designed to meet the IEEE 802.3 standards, including detection, disconnect and overload control. Over-temperature protection allows the midspan to automatically shut down without being damaged and the outputs are equipped with short-circuit protection. (8-port version. $545 each available now.)
