Demo platforms target 16- and 32-bit MCUs

The innovatively named Sub-Atomic Particle Boards are three demonstration platforms for the M16C, R8C, and H8 microcontrollers. They ease assessment of peripheral functions and system/software development tools with a truly integrated suite of hardware and software that covers all three 16- and 32-bit processors.

The boards include tutorials illustrating how to use the support tools. The package has a High-performance Embedded Workshop integrated development environment (IDE) that includes project management functions. The Embedded Workshop Target Server software application can control the IDE and provides an external stimulus for performing tests on code without final hardware. ($79—available now.)
