High-speed ADC drivers guarantee matching

The 1.8-GHz LTC6420-20 and 1.3-GHz LTC6421-20 dual differential A/D converter drivers with guaranteed gain matching offer channel separation of 80 dB at 100 MHz. The LTC6420-20 is ideal for processing signals from dc to 300 MHz, while the LTC6421-20 is a lower-power (40-mA) version of the LTC6420-20 and is optimized for lower input frequencies of dc to 140 MHz.

With guaranteed matched gain of ±0.25 dB and matched phase of ±0.1° typ, the LTC6420-20 provides a fixed gain of 20 dB with −84-dBc third-order intermodulation distortion at 100-MHz input frequency. Both parts are housed in 20-lead QFN packages and feature an internal op-amp noise of 1 nV/√Hz, a noise figure of 6.2 dB, differential inputs and outputs, and rail-to-rail output swings.
