Molex Incorporated will showcase its multiport SSMCX in an 8-position coaxial connector block on 3.00-mm pitch. The SSMCX multiport system is designed for cable-to-board applications and comes in 4- and 8-port options. It incorporates a positive latch as well as holes in the PCB side that accommodate solder pins for added stability. The PCB connector is available in right-angle or vertical and in SMT or through-hole configurations. The Molex SSMCX connector was developed for very small radio and antenna applications where size and a higher frequency response are critical.
