The MTI04C signal amplifier has 4 TIA-based amplifier channels integrated on a naked chip — making it possible to amplify signals for multi-channel optical sensors, such as arrays or color sensors, while requiring only little space and ensuring high functionality. The amplifier is programmed via three inputs. It also has the ability to set the trans-impedance eight different levels.
When various photodiodes are to be switched on, the compensation for the trans-impedance amplifiers can be adjusted digitally in two steps (5 and 80 pF) in accordance with the input capacity of the photodiodes. The lowest current range is 25 nA. The amplifier measures 1.8 x 2 mm and includes a power savings mode. (Call Diane Damer for pricing and availability.)
