The 400-MHz AT91SAM9G20 ARM926EJ-S-based MCU draws only 80 mW in full-power mode with all peripherals turned on. The chip has 32-Kbyte data and instruction caches, a 64-KByte ROM, and two 16-Kbyte SRAMs, all with single-cycle access,

The device has peripheral DMA, a distributed memory architecture, and a six-layer bus matrix — enabling multiple simultaneous data transfers between memories, peripherals, and external interfaces. It also features USB 2.0, a Ethernet 10/100Base-T MAC, four USARTs, SPI, SSC, a two-wire interface, and an image sensor interface. ($7 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
