Designed for coupling into light guides designed for backlighting displays in space-sensitive applications, the RGB MicroSIDELED has an ultraslim (0.6-mm) design and delivers high brightness. For example, green delivers 1,000 mcd at 20 mA with a power efficiency of 50 lm/W.
Units consist of three individual color chips that can be driven in series and can deliver more than 100% of NTSC color on screen, depending on the LCD used.
