The Big River LTX2-35 data recorder is ruggedized for remote or portable applications and accommodates 3.5-in. hard-disk drives, sealed drives, or solid-state drives for greater flexibility. The 2U-high chassis accepts 16 3.5-in. disk drives for up to 16 Tbytes of storage capacity.
Operating from 24 to 28 Vdc, the data recorder can run without a host computer over an Ethernet connection. An embedded Web server can be provided for simple Internet browser-based control if desired. Software applications can also use the StreamStor API from a network connected host computer to control the device from a remote location.
