The 86116C Option 025 is said to be the industry’s first optical/electrical module that provides 16X Fibre Channel (17-Gbit/s single-mode-variant) signals, as well as unfiltered bandwidth and reference receiver capabilities for 100–Gbit Ethernet signals, implemented as four lanes each in the 25.8 to 27.7-Gbit/s range.

Option 025 works with 1,310-nm and 1,550-nm single-mode transmitters and characteristically has 45-GHz optical and 93-GHz electrical unfiltered bandwidths. ($60,000 available now.)
