Connect Ethernet-Equipped Devices to Existing Telephone Wiring
Compact, reliable and convenient, Motorola's HomePNA adapter allows the delivery of triple-play services like IPTV, voice, and data over installed phone wiring for ubiquitious in-home connectivity with a low cost of deployment.
The Motorola HomePNA Adapter(HPNA) converts 10/100 Ethernet to HPNA3.1 enabling the use of existing in-home phone wiring to deliver broadband services to Ethernet equipped devices such as set-top terminals and VOIP phone systems. The HPNA allows any Ethernet eqipped Motorola gateway to be used with standard phone wires, which allows service providers to deliver high value broadband services, such as IPTV, without installing new wires.
The HPNA features two RJ-45 ports for 10/100 Ethernet connectivity and two 128 Mbps HPNA RJ-11 to connect to standard telephone jacks, DSL splitters and other HPNA devices. For reliable delivery of high quality IPTV and VOIP services, the HPNA supports QoS priority and mapping.
