Unregulated adapters comply with EISA

The PLA series is a line of unregulated switching adapters that comply with the U.S. Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA). The adapters are available in 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-W single output voltage models and meet Level IV efficiency. They can be used in place of non-compliant unregulated linear adapters, and are suitable for wireless communications, cordless headsets, Blue Tooth device chargers and cell phones.

The adapters feature high efficiency, double insulation have short circuit protection, and are safety approved by UL. The devices have a no-load power consumption of less than 0.3 W, zero minimum load, and have an input voltage range of 90 to 264Vac.
