The SBS214 2U MIL/COTS chassis is designed to house Trenton Technology’s 32-Gbyte system host boards in 19-in. racks. The chassis is 20 in. deep and features six fans, a power supply, and CD/DVD and floppy-disk drives, as well as other standard peripheral hardware.
The chassis also fits Trenton’s dual- and single-processor PICMG 1.3 SHBs for graphics and server class applications. Each chassis features three 80-mm, 34-cfm removable system fans, one 60-mm, 20-cfm exhaust fan, and two 60-mm, 20-cfm memory cooling fans.
