Encapsulated converter handles extreme applications
The PDC 400 line of dc/dc converters is designed for extreme environments and is well suited for transportation, industrial, oil and gas, mining, and utility applications. The units are encapsulated in a thermally conductive MIL-spec. silicon-rubber compound. The converters meet IEC 61373 Categories 1 A and B shock and vibration standards, and are designed for continuous operation from –40°C to 70°C with an appropriate size heat-sink surface.
This 400W converters use push-pull topology to deliver 12, 24, 36 or 48 Vdc. It operates from 24, 36 or 48 or 125 Vdc supply voltages. The converters are filtered to meet EN 55022 Class B EMI standards. The units feature inrush current limiting and surge protection on the input. ($378 ea/100 – available now.)
